"Context, functionality and experimentation."

What I enjoy the most about making illustrations is solving problems. When there is a brief, there is always a problem to be solved and I find that kind of challenge very encouraging and exiting.

I do not aim to create a style, rather I focus on the process. The processes that I follow is a crucial aspect of the visual language of my work. I let the process and research lead me in to an outcome. That always allows me to create successful outcomes that are well informed by the brief and context.

With a background in Fine Art I don’t just focus on Illustrations, I also take inspiration and learn from different disciplines like Animation Photography and Graphic Design. That allows me to create work that is unique and can be applied to different areas such as packaging, logos, book covers, editorials and picture books.
